Full job description

The Senior Analyst, Verticals and Performance will execute technical roadmaps for Tier 1 projects, develop and maintain targeting and measurement solutions, collaborate cross-functionally on vertical initiatives, troubleshoot data and reporting issues, design experiments to improve marketing performance, contribute to analytics proof-of-concepts, track performance OKRs, and support operational tasks such as campaign reporting and data analysis. Requires 3-5 years experience in analytics roles such as consulting, product management, or business analysis, advanced Python and SQL skills, strong analytical/statistical reasoning including A/B testing and regression analysis, and strong communication skills. Experience with marketing or advertising technology is a plus. The role is full-time, remote, based in Toronto, with a salary range of $76,000 to $90,000 CAD.

What you'll do

  • Support execution of the technical roadmap for Tier 1 projects including development, testing, and maintenance of targeting and measurement solutions
  • Collaborate with Product, Revenue, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Data Science teams on vertical-focused initiatives
  • Troubleshoot technical issues such as reporting discrepancies and data pipeline bugs by analyzing datasets and working with technical teams
  • Design and oversee experiments to validate hypotheses that improve marketing performance
  • Contribute to analytics proof-of-concepts with strategic clients and test custom use cases for productization
  • Define and track performance OKRs and communicate strategic impact to senior internal stakeholders
  • Provide hands-on support with ad-hoc and daily operational tasks including campaign reporting, measurement setup, data analysis, and market & competitor research

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Consulting, Product Management, Business Analysis or Strategy & Operations in an analytics role
  • Experience with marketing or advertising systems is an asset but not required
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and data analytics libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
  • Strong SQL skills including writing complex queries and optimizing performance
  • Strong analytical and statistical reasoning skills including A/B testing, significance testing, and regression analysis
  • Proven track record of independently managing strategic and operationally complex projects within cross-functional teams
  • Impeccable business judgment with ability to formulate hypotheses, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and external audiences
  • Prior experience or familiarity with marketing and advertising technology is a plus
