Seeking a senior Business Analyst/Operations Analyst with 5+ years experience in high-growth tech to design and deploy workflow automations using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and no-code tools (Workato, Zapier, n8n, Make). Responsibilities include mapping BA/PM workflows, quantifying time costs, building automations to reduce manual work, defining capacity KPIs, redesigning processes, and enabling adoption through training. Requires scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets. Salary range $95,000-$135,000 CAD. Remote role based in Canada.

What you'll do

  • Shadow and study BA and PM workflows to map time spent on tasks and quantify time cost
  • Design and deploy automations to eliminate repetitive manual work such as status summaries, AI-assisted requirements drafting, Jira/Confluence triggers, meeting recaps, sprint reports, and documentation
  • Leverage LLMs and no-code tools to build intelligent agents and workflows, continuously evaluate new tools
  • Define and track capacity KPIs for BA and PM teams and report on automation impact
  • Redesign recurring workflows alongside BAs and PMs to improve or eliminate inefficient processes
  • Build human validation checkpoints into AI-automated workflows to maintain quality
  • Roll out new tools and workflows, train teams, gather feedback, and iterate for adoption

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Business Systems role, ideally in a high-growth technology company
  • Hands-on experience building automations using tools like Workato, Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, or equivalent
  • Practical experience working with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to build workflows, agents, or AI-assisted tools
  • Comfort with lightweight technical work: reading and writing basic scripts (Python, JavaScript), querying data with SQL, configuring API integrations
  • Strong analytical instinct for separating high-leverage automation opportunities from low-ROI noise
  • Familiarity with the BA/PM toolkit: Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets project tracking, requirements documentation, sprint planning
  • Ability to translate technical designs into plain language for non-technical stakeholders and align engineers and executives
