Full job description

Entravision seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst in Barcelona to maintain company books per local regulations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple entities. Responsibilities include GL account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, balance reconciliation, compliance with deadlines, supporting financial consolidation (US GAAP and local), financial data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement support. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA/CA/RA or equivalent preferred; minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in multinational companies; strong accounting principles knowledge; experience with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems; advanced Excel skills; strong analytical, communication (English and Spanish), organizational skills; proactive mindset; AI tools familiarity is a plus. What you'll do

  • Perform and review reconciliation of GL accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Prepare and reconcile balances according to local regulations
  • Ensure compliance with local deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Support consolidation of financials according to US GAAP and local regulations
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA / CA / RA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within a multinational company
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience with Oracle (NetSuite) or other ERP/accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Spanish
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being autonomous
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
  • Experience or familiarity with AI tools and automation in accounting processes is considered a plus
