Full job description

Develop and execute multiple types of software tests including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and compatibility across platforms. Assist in creating test plans and scripts, maintain test documentation, identify and track defects, and collaborate with development and project teams to ensure quality. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements. Support automation efforts and accessibility testing aligned with WCAG. Requires bachelor's degree in related field and minimum 1 year QA experience with knowledge of QA methodologies, cross-browser testing, API testing, and Agile. Familiarity with programming/scripting languages, CMS platforms (AEM, Sitecore), automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium), cloud platforms (AWS), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins) preferred. Hybrid work model with expectation to work onsite three days per week if within commutable distance to hub offices including New York. Salary range $59,000 to $96,025.

What you'll do

  • Analyze requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to understand project goals
  • Complete multiple test types including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and compatibility testing across platforms, browsers, and devices
  • Assist QA Leads in creating test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Maintain clear, well-structured test documentation
  • Identify, document, and prioritize issues discovered during testing with reproducible steps and supporting evidence
  • Track defect lifecycle from identification through resolution collaborating with developers and project teams
  • Provide feedback on test progress, results, and risks to project managers, business analysts, and partners
  • Support root cause analysis and guide process improvements
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Partner with developers, UX designers, technical leads, and program managers on quality expectations and testing priorities
  • Provide input during requirements and design discussions to ensure testability and clarity
  • Communicate complex technical and quality-related issues to all partners
  • Contribute to projects improving QA processes, efficiency, and consistency
  • Assist QA Leads and Automation Engineers in developing automated test cases complementing manual testing
  • Stay informed about latest QA, accessibility, and automation technologies and best practices
  • Support accessibility and compliance testing aligned with WCAG

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on QA experience in testing software applications
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms including web, mobile web, and native mobile applications
  • Experience with QA methodologies, testing techniques, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools, web service validation, and log inspection methods
  • Nice to have: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages or scripting languages
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore
  • Proficiency in database queries, database testing, and API/web service testing
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessibility testing tools
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
