StackAdapt seeks a detail-oriented, compliance-focused Payroll Specialist for a temporary contract supporting a US Branch to US LLC transition and migration to a new global payroll provider. The role involves managing payroll and compliance tasks, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, tracking deadlines and risks, and supporting payroll implementation activities including data migration, configuration, testing, and go-live readiness. Candidates must have knowledge of US payroll and multi-state compliance, experience managing payroll projects or entity transitions, strong project management and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets. This remote-first role is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada. Compensation ranges from $25 to $34 CAD hourly.
What you'll do
Support payroll and compliance workstream for US Branch to US LLC transition
Assist with deregistration and final filings for existing US Branch across ~36 state and local jurisdictions
