Join Nexxen's HR Operations team as a Payroll Specialist II to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across North America and EMEA. This hybrid role is based in New York or Chicago office, working three days per week onsite. Responsibilities include processing payrolls for US, Canada, UK, and Germany; reviewing payroll changes and earnings; reconciling pension calculations; auditing payroll outputs and registers; managing off-cycle payrolls and corrections; maintaining payroll calendars; liaising with payroll vendors and internal teams; responding to payroll inquiries; maintaining payroll records; supporting audits and compliance including SOX controls. Requirements include 2+ years payroll experience, multi-state US payroll knowledge, familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and payroll systems like Dayforce Powerpay, Zedra, or DATEV, strong compliance and Excel skills, and excellent communication. Preferred qualifications include global payroll experience, SOX controls knowledge, CPP certification or willingness to obtain, and experience with international payroll vendors.
