Liftoff is seeking a senior technical accounting expert to draft and review technical memos, guide accounting policy, and ensure financial statements reflect complex transactions accurately. Responsibilities include researching and documenting technical accounting positions, preparing journal entry support, owning accounting policies, implementing new standards, managing equity-related accounting, preparing financial statements and disclosures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting audits. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification, 6 years of experience including public accounting (preferably Big 4), expertise in US GAAP, strong ownership, prioritization, analytical, communication skills, and adaptability. The role is full-time, remote in Canada, with preferred work hours aligned to Pacific time zone. Compensation includes CAD 120,000 - 155,000 OTE with a 10% bonus, equity, and health benefits.
