Full job description
The Trade Desk seeks a senior Commercial Finance leader to manage the Los Angeles team. The role involves reviewing and structuring complex deals to ensure compliance with financial policies and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, evaluating contract escalations, developing scalable processes and internal controls, maintaining documentation on pricing and deal structures, assessing financial impacts, and driving operational improvements. Requires 8+ years in Commercial Finance or Accounting with 2+ years managing people, strong GAAP knowledge, familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM), Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
CPA or equivalent preferred
8+ years of experience in Commercial Finance or Accounting
2+ years of people management experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Technical accounting experience a plus
Prior managerial experience required
Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM), Salesforce, CPQ tools, and ERP systems
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and implement scalable processes
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
