Full job description
Verve is seeking a senior Finance Operations professional to own monthly revenue and cost-of-sales close processes for the US business. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, validating accruals, reconciling revenue and costs to platform and billing data, preparing variance analysis, supporting billing accuracy, reconciling intercompany flows, partnering with sales and revenue operations, supporting compliance and audit processes, and identifying process improvements. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including revenue recognition and multi-entity environments, strong Excel skills, experience with NetSuite or similar ERP, and strong organizational and communication skills. What you'll do
Own the monthly revenue and cost-of-sales close, including preparing and recording revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin journal entries across the group’s entities

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a comparable field
ACCA or ACA candidate or equivalent is a plus
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally including revenue and cost of sales in a multi-entity or intercompany environment
Hands-on experience with revenue recognition and month-end revenue/cost of sale close
Experience reconciling revenue to billing, platform, or partner data, ideally in media, adtech, or a high-volume transactional business
Experience with NetSuite (or a comparable ERP) strongly preferred
Strong Excel skills; comfort building and maintaining recurring reconciliation and margin workbooks
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines
Clear written communication skills for variance commentary and cross-functional collaboration
Comfort working independently in a remote, multi-entity environment
