Director, Software Engineering - Ingestion- FreeWheel

What you'll do

• Lead development and execution of software strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Define coding standards and frameworks for application development
• Direct large teams in creating innovative software and web applications
• Ensure ongoing support for existing solutions
• Manage rollout of software releases and updates
• Collaborate with managers to meet project deadlines, specifications, and budgets
• Develop performance metrics and report on project progress
• Manage large-scale budgets to meet financial targets
• Research and integrate new coding technologies and practices
• Partner with other engineering teams to adopt supportive practices
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
• Work nights and weekends as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Ability to lead software development strategies
• Experience managing large teams and budgets
• Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
