Full job description

Director of FP&A role to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a multinational ad tech company. Responsibilities include owning forecast and budget processes, partnering with department heads, preparing board and lender reports, building financial models, managing multi-entity complexity, improving systems and processes, and mentoring the FP&A team. Requires 5+ years FP&A experience with SaaS or subscription/usage-based revenue, advanced financial modeling skills, experience with recurring revenue metrics, board/investor reporting experience, multinational exposure, ERP and planning tool fluency, strong communication, and ownership mindset. Location: Singapore. Full-time position.

What you'll do

  • Own the forecast and budget process including rolling forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan across revenue, opex, and headcount
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering leadership to build department budgets, track spend, and identify variances
  • Prepare board and lender reporting materials including KPI dashboards, churn analysis, and cash runway modeling
  • Build and refine financial models such as revenue models, scenario analyses, and unit economics (CAC, LTV, net revenue retention)
  • Manage multi-entity complexity supporting consolidated reporting and planning across US, UK, Irish, and Singapore entities
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes for planning tools, reporting cadence, and data flow
  • Mentor and eventually manage FP&A team as it scales

Requirements

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a SaaS, ad tech, or other subscription/usage-based revenue business
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, fluent in building models from scratch in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience with recurring revenue metrics such as ARR, net revenue retention, churn, CAC/LTV, and cohort analysis
  • Board and investor-facing experience, able to prepare materials for board, lender, or investor audiences
  • Multi-entity or multinational exposure, particularly UK/Ireland or APAC
  • Systems fluency with ERP systems like NetSuite or QuickBooks and planning tools like Adaptive Insights or Pigment
  • Strong communication skills to distill complex financial analysis into clear narratives
  • Ownership mindset comfortable in a lean finance team building processes
