Full job description
Pixalate seeks a senior Global Controller to lead worldwide accounting operations and financial reporting. Responsibilities include overseeing global accounting functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, managing month-end and year-end close processes, developing internal controls, managing global tax compliance, working with auditors and tax advisors, optimizing financial systems, partnering with FP&A, supporting fundraising and investor reporting, mentoring accounting teams, and collaborating with finance leadership across regions. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent, 7+ years progressive accounting experience with global leadership, strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS including ASC 606/IFRS 15, experience with multi-entity consolidations, proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite), experience in SaaS or digital advertising preferred, and availability during North American business hours. The role is full-time, remote based in Singapore with valid work authorization required. What you'll do
- Oversee all aspects of global accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition across multiple entities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes globally, including consolidations, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies across all jurisdictions
- Manage global tax compliance strategy and coordinate with regional tax advisors and regulatory agencies
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and optimize financial systems and automation tools to improve efficiency and scalability
- Partner with FP&A to provide insights into financial performance and business strategy
- Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting efforts
- Mentor and develop accounting team members globally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with finance leadership across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles with global scope
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, including revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15)
- Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactions
- Experience in SaaS, digital advertising, or technology industries preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
- Previous experience with a Series A/B stage business scaling globally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities across different time zones and cultures
- Must have some availability during North American business hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities
