Full job description

MiQ is hiring a Bilingual Japanese Programmatic Trader based in Los Angeles, working Japan office hours (GMT+9). The role involves managing client portfolios, setting up and optimizing programmatic campaigns using DSPs like Xandr, DV360, and The Trade Desk. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools, and preferably 1+ years running programmatic campaigns. Fluency in Japanese (Native/N1/N2) and English is required. Responsibilities include campaign setup, troubleshooting, client reporting, forecasting, project management, internal collaboration, and innovation using MiQ’s proprietary technology. What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring optimal performance and pacing
  • Set up campaigns to succeed from day 1
  • Analyze complex data sets to make decisions to beat client goals
  • Troubleshoot campaign challenges
  • Implement campaign optimizations within DSPs
  • Work across multiple technology platforms including DSPs, internal BI, ad servers, attribution, brand safety
  • Provide client reporting and optimization commentary
  • Delivery and incremental forecasting
  • Provide avails, pricing, and strategy recommendations for new campaigns
  • Partner with trading team to enhance internal tools and processes
  • Feedback and test new trading products for future enhancements
  • Build relationships with sales and account management teams
  • Work with commercial teams to deliver custom client solutions
  • Communicate strategy and optimizations to internal and external partners
  • Articulate how MiQ’s trading technology and expertise differentiates the company
  • Innovate by finding new and better ways of working
  • Use MiQ’s proprietary technology to create bespoke campaign setups and custom algorithms

Requirements

  • Fluent in Japanese (Native/N1/N2 levels) and English
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools
  • Experience with Xandr, DV360, The Trade Desk, or any DSP preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience running programmatic campaigns preferred
