Full job description
Attain is hiring an Assistant General Counsel to be the second in-house lawyer focusing on adtech and consumer fintech legal needs. The role involves negotiating commercial agreements, building data privacy programs, supporting fintech expansion, and developing legal operations using AI. Requires JD with active bar membership, 7+ years post-JD experience including law firm and in-house, deep data privacy and commercial contracting experience, legal operations and AI fluency, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work schedule with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote in Chicago or New York.
What you'll do
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements for the adtech business, including data licenses, MSAs, DPAs, SOWs, and order forms with agencies, platforms, publishers, and retail media networks
- Embed with product, engineering, and growth teams to advise on new features and data flows early
