Full job description

StackAdapt is hiring an Applied Machine Learning Scientist to join their engineering team to expand data science efforts. The role involves innovating and developing ML algorithms to improve advertising ROI and performance, writing production code, prototyping and testing algorithms using historical data. Candidates should have a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field, strong understanding of statistics, optimization, machine learning, and proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms. The position is full-time and remote, open to candidates in the UK, Ireland, and Germany. What you'll do

  • Innovate ML algorithms to maximize ROI and advertising performance
  • Create new algorithms and improve state-of-the-art methods
  • Develop ML algorithms with deep understanding of classic methods
  • Write production code, sometimes collaborating with Data Engineers
  • Prototype algorithms and pipelines, test with historical data, iterate based on insights
