Why salary transparency matters

Salary transparency is becoming an increasingly important topic in hiring. In Europe, the EU Pay Transparency Directive is pushing employers toward clearer salary communication during recruitment, while some markets such as the United States and Canada already show stronger salary disclosure patterns in job postings.

This report tracks how often AdTech jobs include structured salary ranges, using live job data from AdTechTalent. For broader hiring context, see the latest Hiring Reports.

Methodology

This dynamic insight uses currently published, non-expired jobs in the AdTechTalent database. A job is counted as salary-disclosed when it has a structured minimum or maximum salary value.

Countries are included in the main ranking only if they have at least 20 active jobs. Country is taken from structured job locations when available, with the raw job location field used as a fallback.

Remote-only jobs without a structured country are excluded from the country ranking to avoid assigning global roles to a single market. They remain included in overall KPIs, company rankings, and role/category rankings.
