Full job description

OpenX seeks a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead the evolution and enhancement of their WordPress-based website. The role involves full stack development including front end, back end, CMS, and hosting infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include translating UI/UX designs into responsive web pages, managing cookie banners, integrating analytics, maintaining WordPress CMS and plugins, managing GCP hosting and website security, and optimizing website performance. The candidate must have 5-7 years of web development experience, strong WordPress knowledge including integration with HubSpot, GA4, GTM, technical SEO, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, REST APIs, LAMP stack, Kubernetes, Git, and Google Cloud. The position is based in Krakow with flexible working hours and remote work option. Compensation is B2B contract at 81-95 PLN net per hour.

What you'll do

  • Translate website UI/UX designs from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect, functional, responsive web pages
  • Develop and manage responsive website for desktop and mobile
  • Implement and manage cookie banners across all web pages
  • Introduce new web development practices to improve customer experience
  • Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and user experience
  • Develop editable and configurable website pages managed by marketing manager
  • Manage code injection, analytics, cookies, asset library
  • Maintain WordPress CMS including upgrades, plugins, custom themes with rigorous staging testing
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for codebase, architecture, deployment
  • Manage GCP-based website hosting
  • Own website security posture including vulnerability scanning and threat monitoring
  • Manage and verify database backups
  • Set up and manage staging environment architecture for version control
  • Continuously optimize front-end performance to meet Google Core Web Vitals

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of web development experience
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress Customizer
  • Strong understanding of WordPress integration with HubSpot, GA4, GTM, and others
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO principles in WordPress
  • Ability to work and attend calls from 10am to 6:30pm
  • Experience with front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with back end: PHP, SQL, WordPress CMS, REST APIs, LAMP Stack
  • Experience with DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Git
  • Experience with server/hosting: Google Cloud
