Full job description

Senior Product Manager role focused on Retail Media relevancy and Sponsored Products monetization. Responsible for defining vision and roadmap for product relevancy in Retail Media search and browse experiences, balancing relevancy, revenue, and user experience. Collaborate with data science and engineering to improve matching logic and monitor performance. Define monetization strategies for new AI-driven discovery surfaces ensuring ads are trusted, clear, and non-disruptive. Act as primary contact for relevancy issues and maintain clear documentation. Requires 5-8+ years in product management, preferably with experience in search, recommendations, ads, or ML-powered products. Background in ad tech, ecommerce, marketplaces or Retail Media is a plus. Strong data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration skills needed. What you'll do

  • Lead Sponsored Products relevancy
  • Define vision and roadmap for product display order across Retail Media search and browse experiences
  • Balance relevancy, revenue, and user experience in product decisions
  • Align paid ads with retailer organic experiences to ensure relevancy consistency
  • Experiment with clients and iterate on relevancy improvements
  • Work with data science and engineering to improve matching logic and monitor performance
  • Define how Sponsored Products appear in new discovery surfaces (natural-language search, onsite assistants)
  • Clarify monetization appropriateness and safeguards for native, non-disruptive ads
  • Collaborate across Product, R&D, GTM, and Legal to bring pilots to market and scale roadmap
  • Act as single point of contact for Retail Media relevancy questions and escalations
  • Maintain clear documentation (strategy one-pagers, PRDs, decision logs)
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs and impact in an honest, data-driven manner

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years in Product Management, ideally on search, recommendations, ads, or other ML-powered products
  • Background in ad tech, ecommerce, marketplaces or Retail Media is a strong plus
  • Proven track record owning complex, technical product areas end-to-end
  • Comfortable working with data, experiments and metrics to drive decisions
  • Able to translate ambiguous, technical topics into clear problem statements and simple narratives
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator; able to work with engineering, data, design, sales and clients
  • Calm, structured and pragmatic when dealing with high-visibility issues
