Full job description

Senior Director, Relationship Marketing Strategy role supporting an Insurance/Wealth Management B2B client. Lead strategic omni-channel marketing plans and translate new technology in 1st party data marketing and CRM into marketing ideas. Develop trusted client relationships and collaborate with internal teams and partners to execute plans. Requires 10+ years in data driven marketing, 5+ years agency/consulting experience, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong communication skills, and ability to travel 20-50%. Position is hybrid with 3 days/week in office expected for New York location. Salary range $136,000-$185,000.

What you'll do

  • Lead the building, development, and delivery of strategic omni-channel marketing plans
  • Be a subject matter expert and translate new technology, particularly in 1st party data marketing and CRM, into new marketing ideas
  • Show strong understanding of marketing differences across verticals and environments
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives
  • Ensure meaningful client value through best-practice solutions, skills, capabilities, and original thinking
  • Collaborate with team leadership and partner agencies to turn ideas into executable plans
  • Identify key data points and measurements to show impact of strategy on client’s business

Requirements

  • Experience working with Wealth Management (Financial Advisor) or Group Insurance clients within the B2B space
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in data driven marketing – specifically CRM, email, online/offline media
  • Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and how messaging strategy drives the experience
  • 5+ years working in an agency or consulting firm
  • Experience developing solutions to support the sale of new services to clients
  • Proficiency in Excel and research tools
  • Strong writing, presentation and client facing communication skills
  • Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations – proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and ability to incorporate internal and external feedback iteratively
  • Superior multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasion skills
  • Comfort and experience working within a matrixed organization
  • Willingness to travel 20-50% depending on client comfort level
