Full job description

Smadex is an ad-tech company processing over 4.5 million ad requests per second with response times under 100ms. We seek a Junior Software Engineer for a full-time (40 hours/week) hybrid role in Barcelona. Responsibilities include building a cloud-based platform, collaborating with peers, contributing to technical decisions, and participating in code reviews. Requirements: engineering or master’s degree student, immediate availability, full-time commitment, self-motivated, excellent English communication, legal permit to work in Spain (no visa sponsorship). Bonus: basic Linux skills, experience with Java or Node.js. Tech stack includes Java, NodeJS, Bash, Python, MySQL, AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jira, and Notion.
