Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a Receptionist (Front Desk Associate) to join the Workplace Services team in Singapore. This on-site, full-time junior role involves acting as the primary point of contact at the office front desk, greeting employees, guests, visitors, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing building access cards, coordinating with Workplace Services and security, supporting office communications and events, maintaining the front of house area, assisting onboarding and departure processes, and collaborating with global teams. Requirements include 0-2 years experience, strong customer service skills, excellent communication, creativity, resilience, proactive attitude, ability to work outside normal hours for emergencies, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

What you'll do

  • Act as primary point of contact for office front of house support including greeting employees, guests, visitors, and vendors
  • Assist with management of daily building access cards for employees and guests
  • Coordinate with local Workplace Services team and building security
  • Support regular office communications regarding updates, food & beverage programs, and events
  • Coordinate office functions including lunch programs, mail services, desk moves, meeting room reservations, and special events
  • Alert Workplace Services team to maintenance issues and educate employees on support requests
  • Maintain front of house area neat and tidy
  • Maintain local workplace intranet page with relevant information
  • Assist with employee and contractor onboarding and departure processes
  • Assist with planning office morale activities and events
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with candidate greetings and coordination
  • Perform other tasks, duties, or special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with global Workplace Services colleagues on best practices

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced office or professional work environment is a plus
  • Genuine interest in providing an outstanding level of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Upbeat, positive attitude with attention to detail
  • Resilient and proactive attitude
  • Able to respond after hours for emergencies and work outside designated hours as needed
  • Full knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word/Excel/PowerPoint
