Full job description

Amazon Ads Large Customer Sales (LCS) is hiring an Account Executive to lead Grocery category strategic businesses. The role involves managing advertiser relationships and strategy, meeting revenue targets, delivering long-term growth plans, and collaborating with internal teams. Requires 3+ years B2B sales experience, proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, and AI tools integration. Preferred 5+ years digital ad sales experience, cross-functional teamwork, ad tech knowledge, and negotiation skills. What you'll do

  • Own and lead the overall advertiser relationship and strategy, including account planning and direct advertiser agreements for complex, upper-tier accounts
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets by securing sustained media investment partnerships
  • Deliver structured, objective-based long-term plans that drive growth and improve advertiser experience
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders (VP/Director level and above)
  • Set customer objective-based priorities for the cross-functional account team
  • Orchestrate internal partner teams including Account Managers, Campaign Creative Managers, Programmatic Solutions Consultants, Analytics & Insights, AdTech, Product Sales Specialists
  • Develop data-driven insights, advertiser/agency education, and industry perspective
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with client and agency senior leadership
  • Contribute to and potentially own cadenced reporting and narratives (WBR, MBR, QBR, 2-pager, 6-pager, PR/FAQ)
  • Improve, streamline, and eliminate excess processes; drive efficiencies and develop best practices and playbooks
  • Influence sales organization, partner teams, and senior leaders; advocate on behalf of the customer within Amazon
  • Participate in and/or lead established and emerging strategic initiatives; influence partner team roadmaps

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Proficiency with general AI tools and a demonstrated commitment to integrating AI into daily workflows
  • Preferred: 5+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor experience
  • Preferred: Experience working cross functionally across several teams
  • Preferred: Knowledge of ad technologies (e.g. DMP, CRM Matching, etc.)
  • Preferred: Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
